Marty Williamson

President

Marty Williamson is a 25 year veteran of the Outdoor Advertising Industry.

He began his career in 1983 as an Account Executive for Georgia Outdoor Advertising, Inc., in Athens,Georgia. After his first year he was the top sales producer and was named salesman of the year. At GOA he would later become General Sales Manager and after the purchase of GOA by Outdoor Communications, Inc., he was named Division Manager in charge of the Athens, Georgia, Rome, Georgia and Anderson, South Carolina offices.

In 1997 Williamson left OCI to start Williamson Outdoor Advertising, LLC. Over the next five years he was able to grow WOA to nearly 400 billboard faces in North Georgia, North West South Carolina and North East Alabama.

In 2003 Williamson sold the company to Fairway Outdoor Advertising, a division of Morris Communications in Augusta, Georgia.

Marty Williamson formed Georgia Outdoor Advertising; LLC in 2006 and in its first year Williamson and his business partner, Greg Phillips erected 100 new billboard faces in Georgia and South Carolina.

 

Greg Phillips

Vice President

Greg Phillips is a 20 year veteran of the Outdoor Advertising Industry.

He began his career in 1988 by building a few Outdoor locations with several partnerships in Georgia.

In 1993 he was hired as the Southeastern Real Estate Manager for Whiteco Metrocom Inc., in their Atlanta office.

In 1995 he was also named Operations Manager of that same region where he continued in these positions until 1997. During this time Phillips was in charge of the Leasing, Development and Operations of the companies Southeastern territory. Soon after leaving Whiteco, Phillips started Apex Outdoor Advertising based in Eastern Georgia with coverage in 13 Counties.

In 2005 the company was sold to Insite Mediacom.

In 2006 Phillips joined with Williamson to form Georgia Outdoor Advertising LLC.
